About the Expert

Daniel J. Siegel wears two hats: he is a practicing attorney who regularly represents attorneys with and provides guidance on ethical and professional responsibility matters and is also a full-time technology consultant.

As a consultant and president of Integrated Technology Services, LLC, he works with attorneys and their staffs to analyze their workflow, and to implement and use technology more efficiently while avoiding the technical jargon that can be a barrier to understanding and adoption.

As an attorney and principal of the Law Offices of Daniel J. Siegel, LLC, he focuses his practice on trial and appellate court writing, ethics and professional guidance for attorneys, and workers compensation matters. He also serves as a second chair for attorneys working on the matters that keep them up at night. He serves in numerous bar association positions, including Co-Vice Chair of the Pennsylvania Bar Association Committee on Legal Ethics and Professional Responsibility (and the primary author of numerous ethics opinions published by the Committee); Chair of the American Bar Association Law Practice Division Professional Development Board, and Chair of the Philadelphia Bar Association Law Practice Committee.

Mr. Siegel is also the author of 13 books, including The Ultimate Guide to Lexis Nexis CaseMap; Ultimate Guide to Adobe Acrobat DC; Checklists for Lawyers; How to Do More in Less Time: The Complete Guide to Increasing Your Productivity and Improving Your Bottom Line; Pennsylvania Workers Compensation Law: The Basics; and Changing Law Firms: Ethical Guidance for Pennsylvania Law Firms & Attorneys.
