Join us to start making sense of HRV data from Inna Khazan, PhD, BCB with this installment of Webinars for Busy Lawyers.

Wearable devices like the Oura Ring, Whoop, and Apple Watch now provide us with a constant stream of physiological data, including heart rate variability (HRV). Many people track these numbers every day, yet there is surprisingly little clear guidance on what they represent or how to use them in a meaningful way.

In this webinar, clinical psychologist and biofeedback expert Dr. Inna Khazan will help you make sense of the HRV metrics you see in your wearable devices. We will explore:

  • What HRV says about how your nervous system is functioning,
  • How different devices calculate and present HRV metrics, and
  • How to interpret these numbers without becoming overly focused on daily fluctuations.

Participants will learn how HRV can be used as a practical signal of recovery, resilience, and readiness. We will discuss how factors such as sleep, stress, travel, illness, and training load influence HRV, and how to recognize meaningful patterns over time.

The webinar will also introduce HRV biofeedback, a scientifically supported method for strengthening self-regulation and stress resilience. By combining paced breathing with real-time physiological feedback, HRV biofeedback helps individuals learn how to influence their heart rate patterns and improve flexibility of their nervous system.

Whether you are already tracking HRV or simply curious about what these numbers mean, this webinar will help you move from data chaos to meaningful insights and practical applications.
