Many lawyers know they should negotiate their work salary – but far fewer feel confident doing it. The biggest challenge usually isn’t the negotiation itself. It’s clearly understanding and communicating the value you bring before the conversation ever begins.
In this practical, fast-paced webinar, career strategist and executive coach Alicia Ramsdell shares a proven framework informed by the work of leading experts in negotiation and communication – including Chris Voss, Kwame Christian, Matt Abrahams, Alison Wood Brooks, Brandon Bramley, and others – to help attorneys confidently communicate their value and advocate for themselves throughout their careers.
You’ll learn how to prepare for salary and promotion conversations, respond effectively to common objections, and negotiate from a position of clarity instead of anxiety.
Attendees will leave with practical communication strategies, proven negotiation frameworks, and language they can immediately apply in their next career conversation.
Participants will learn how to: –
- Clearly identify and communicate their professional value.
- Prepare for salary, promotion, and career advancement conversations.
- Respond confidently to common negotiation objections.
- Communicate effectively during high-pressure conversations.
- Apply practical negotiation strategies while strengthening professional relationships.
Q&A will follow the program, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you have.
