Mindfulness in Law Society In-Person Breakfast Gathering
31 Milk Street | Boston, MA
Join us for breakfast at the annual in-person gathering of the Mindfulness In Law Society.
This gathering is an opportunity to connect with one another and support our shared experience of practicing Mindfulness to benefit our personal well-being, and our common goal of improving well-being in the legal community. Members will be invited to share their thoughts on the benefits of MILS and our Chapter, and you’ll get a sneak preview overview of the keynote presentation that Dr. Lia Antico, PhD, a postdoctoral researcher at the Mindfulness Center at Brown University, will be giving at the MILS Conference & Retreat that will be held in San Fransico in July. Dr. Antico teaches the Neuroscience of Meditation course at Brown, and her research focuses on burnout, anxiety, and their neural mechanisms, with particular emphasis on mindfulness-based interventions for well-being at workplace.
This is the kind of group described in the following statement shared in the Well-being In Law Week “All kinds of groups can be the source of Social Cure benefits. But the quality of our connections makes a big difference. Benefits come only from groups with which we experience a subjective sense of belonging or a meaningful shared identity.”
Breakfast will be served!
