Managing Difficult Emotions in the Legal Workplace [Webinar]

August 17, 2022 12:00 pm

Get strategies to handle the often overwhelming emotions we experience in our workplace from Dr. Tracey Meyers in 30 minutes or less — with our next installment of Webinars for Busy Lawyers.

Difficult emotions pile on us from so many angles in the legal profession with unrealistic client demands, often poorly trained supervisors, isolation, financial pressures, and more – all in the context of an adversarial system with gaping holes in access to justice.

With so many practical challenges, we need to prioritize our emotional well-being. This webinar is designed to give you actionable takeaways you can apply to your everyday life. We’ll cover:

  1. Emotion Regulation: What it is and how to harness it to manage difficult emotions more effectively.
  2. The Stress Response in the Body: Understanding how our emotions can create a sense of “dis-ease” in the body.
  3. Improving Interpersonal Communication: Utilizing mindfulness strategies to improve emotions in our relationships.

Q&A will follow the program, giving you the opportunity to ask any questions you have.

If you can’t make the live event, you can still register to receive a link to the recording once it’s available.
