Are you looking to enhance your resilience and manage stress more effectively in your legal practice? Join us for an informative one-hour webinar with staff clinician, Dr. Tracey Meyers, where we delve into the practical applications of Polyvagal Theory in the legal profession.

Polyvagal Theory, developed by scientist and researcher Dr. Stephen Porges, revolutionizes our understanding of the autonomic nervous system by highlighting how its three key branches—ventral vagal, sympathetic, and dorsal vagal—affect our responses to stress, safety, and social engagement. This theory provides insights into how our physiological states influence emotional regulation and interpersonal connections.

Webinar Highlights:

  • Polyvagal Theory Fundamentals: Gain a solid understanding of the three key branches—ventral vagal, sympathetic, and dorsal vagal—and how they influence stress, safety, and social engagement.
  • Stress and the Legal Profession: Explore the unique stressors faced by lawyers and how these impact decision-making, focus, and interpersonal interactions via the autonomic nervous system.
  • Practical Applications: Discover actionable strategies based on Polyvagal Theory, including mindfulness practices, breath work, and grounding techniques to promote calm and readiness.
  • Building Resilience: Learn how to integrate these practices into your daily routine to enhance mental clarity, reduce anxiety, and strengthen your connections with peers and clients.

Don’t miss this opportunity to acquire tools that can transform your approach to stress management. Join us and take your first steps toward a more resilient practice.
